Want to colour with markers, paint or other juicy art supplies? Go for it! Just keep in mind that 100 GSM paper is not designed to be completely bleed-proof.
To help protect the pages underneath:
- Place a scrap piece of paper, cardstock or a marker-proof sheet underneath the page you’re colouring.
- This is especially important when using alcohol markers, water-based markers, acrylic markers, paint or other wet mediums.
- Allow wet mediums to fully dry before closing the book.
- Test your chosen medium on a small area first to see how it behaves on the paper.
- If using markers, remember that some colour transfer or bleed-through can occur, depending on the medium and how heavily it is applied.
✨ Our tip: Keep a few spare sheets of paper tucked inside your book so you always have a protective page ready to go!
